It has two options called the Start of the repeating period and the End of the repeating period.
If you select the Start of Repeating Period option, the application will post the accrual at the beginning of the repeating period.
If you select the End of Repeating Period option, the application will post the accrual at the end of the repeating period. This is currently the default value.
Your configuration of when the accrual plan accrues will automatically be reflected in the Calculate Accruals and Balances absence process.
So, from 24A onwards You now have the option to configure absence plans to either accrue at the start of a repeating period or the end of a repeating period using a new Accrue on option.
There are no configurations required to enable this feature, it will be available in the system by default from 24A upgrade onwards for all the Oracle Fusion HCM customers.
